The Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Roberto Morales Ojeda, received this Thursday Mr. Kyaw Tint Swe, Minister of the Union for the Office of the Councilor of State and Special Envoy of the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, who makes an official visit to Cuba.
In a friendly climate, they recalled the bonds of friendship that unite the two peoples and governments. They also addressed relevant issues on the bilateral agenda and agreed on the importance of strengthening political dialogue and cooperation between the two nations.
The distinguished visitor was accompanied by the Charge d’Affaires, a.i. of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Cuba, HE. Mr. Kyaw Nyun Oo.
Alberto Blanco Silva, director of Asia and Oceania and other officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended the meeting on the Cuban side.
